A certain someone needs to stop showing me so many wonderful groups. You know who you are.

[Name}

Artemis Grimm

[Nickname(s)]

Arty, Art and anything else you can think of, he doesn't mind nicknames.

[Age]

24

[Gender]

Male

[Title]

Unspoken Love

[House]

Agape

[Weapon]

Bubble Wand-- A heart shaped bubble wand used for conjuring charms, mostly used for healing and the larger or stronger the charm, the more of the space inside of the heart shape at the end will be filled up. Smaller charms will simply fill the space of the small heart in the center before being released with a wave of the wand, while the larger more complicated ones will fill the entirety of the small heart in the center, as well as the space around it.

[Personality]

Soft-Spoken: Incredibly soft spoken actually, given how loud the rest of his family is it would come as a surprise to anyone who met them that he could be so quiet. He tries not to raise his voice even though he tends to get talked over and interrupted rather often, simply waiting until he has a chance to continue talking and if he doesn't get that chance, then simply leaves it be. It isn't the best quality to have, and sometimes he wishes he could speak up for himself once in a while.

Polite: Though his father was a rather loud and boisterous man with a less than clean vocabulary, he always ground the importance of manners into his children, especially when it came to etiquette with their mother and women in general, so if there is one thing Artemis dislikes it is unnecessary rudeness. Even if you are rude to him he will remain polite and well-mannered, and though that has gotten him beat up a few times in his childhood youth he continues to this very day.

Shy: Some would find this trait endearing, but Artemis and his parents would disagree. Being so shy made him a fairly private person when it came to personal matters, but it also stunted his social skills making it hard for him to even say hello let alone strike up a conversation with a stranger. Because of it family gatherings were not things that were looked forward to and it made working in their family business, his father's pub a horrendous chore. He wished he could be more outgoing like his other siblings, but it seemed it just wasn't meant to be. Though, if you do somehow manage to make friends with him a more friendly side appears and conversation with him will be much easier.

Submissive: Even from a young age his personality was submissive, and this made it very difficult for him to say no to people. His siblings, among others would take advantage of this unfortunate trait of his by shucking their chores and responsibilities onto him and never once was he able to tell any of them 'no'. When he was young he didn't quite understand that he was being manipulated until his mother brought it up with him, and while he still finds it difficult, and sometimes even impossible to say no he has developed the bad habit of simply running away to avoid giving an answer if the favor is something he knew he shouldn't be doing.

Optimistic: If there was one trait he liked about himself it was his optimism. Even in times when things seemed to be rolling down hill indefinitely he would do his best to keep his family and friends afloat with his optimism and reassurances. It is a difficult feat for him to not find a silver lining to any situation and tries hard to keep his own and everyone elses spirits up in times of need. He is anything but stubborn however, if someone is persistent with their sour mood over a problem he will become disheartened despite his own feelings on the situation.

[Biography]

Growing up in a fair sized village in Ireland, Artemis had a pleasant childhood. His family were very loving and caring people, who often tended to show their love rather than speak it and lived by the motto 'actions speak louder than words'. Artemis grew up in a family of six, his three siblings, himself and his boisterous father and doting mother in a fair sized home, living off of the income made by his family's pub that had been in their family for generations. Of course each of his older siblings, with himself being the youngest had their first job in that pub, it wasn't the most glamorous, nor did it give the best pay, but it gave them experience to find work when they finally moved out and began their own lives.

Now Artemis had very few friends if you didn't count his siblings, and even then one might not even consider such people friends with how they took advantage of his amiable and loving nature, but he believed for the longest time that by doing them these favors, by doing their work or lending them money, he was showing them how much he cared. It was some time before there was one request he hesitated to accept, one that made him feel such great discomfort and unease that for the first time in his young life, he wanted to say no. Twenty years old and still working at the family pub, it was requested of him that he pilfer one of the kegs from the back of the pub and sneak it out so that they could take it to a party without needing to pay for it. Stealing...that was something no one in his family would condone, especially stealing from your own family no matter who it was for and no matter what the reason. He tried to reason with his friend, tried to convince him just to pay, but all it got him were accusations of cowardice, and an unhappy friend storming off away from him when he refused to say yes, and refused to directly say no either. The feeling he got watching his back retreat had been an awful one, and he didn't talk to him again after that.

It was four years later that he would receive his letter, still working at the family pub and living on his own he had gone through so many friends, people he had poured his heart into and given a piece of himself with every favor done, with every gift given only for them to drift away or get tired of him. Of course at first he believed it to be some sort of joke that his older sister might play on him, being the hopeless romantic she was, a school that specialized in love and a magic potion that gave you wings seemed right up her alley. Venus had noticed the potential in him, with the unconditional love he showed everyone who ended up part of his life, no matter how they treated him. It was not until after he had drank the potion, believing it to be some sort of alcoholic drink or even simple water, and though he could not identify the liquid by taste, when nothing happened after he drank it he believed his suspicions to be confirmed. The next few days would prove that wrong however, and his family grew concerned when he took time off of work and avoided them all, in far too much pain and emotional distress from the mood swings caused by this changing potion to even function well enough to work. When his wings were fully grown and his body returned to normal the first thing he did was scramble for the letter he had buried away in a drawer, reading it and re-reading it over and over, a hesitant wonder in his eyes.

To accept, or not to accept?

Perhaps...perhaps this could be his chance, his chance to better himself. He would be helping people, and maybe this experience would be exactly what he needed. Why would he need it though? He had no idea really, but it was as if he felt drawn to say yes, to accept the invitation.

[Likes & Dislikes]

+Sweet Foods
+Animals
+Flowers
+Peppermint flavored/scented everything.
+Making his friends happy.
+The rain.

-Alcohol (despite working in a pub he can't hold his liquor and doesn't really want to test his limits.)
-Tobacco (being the only man in his household who didn't smoke it. He can't stand the smell.)
-Losing friends
-Rude people.

[Strengths & Weaknesses]

Strengths: While he does have many weaknesses he does have a few strengths behind him as well, one being his optimism in hard times and another being his honesty and determination to get things done when given a task. He is a reliable and hardworking person, even if he is shy at times. He is also really good at manual labor since work in the pub required heavy lifting and lots of experience with keeping the place clean and in good shape.

Weaknesses: While they aren't always bad to have, his soft-hearted nature and inability to say no to people he cares about are two pretty horrible weaknesses, easily sympathizing or empathizing with people and because of it he is basically allowing himself to be taken advantage of. What he believes to be his greatest weakness however is his shyness, which cripples his social skills and what few friends he had, he only had because they spoke to him first. He plans to change this when he starts at the school, but it will remain a weakness for some time yet. He also isn't very good at sports or combat despite what little strength he carries from the manual labor.

[Extra]

++He is a terrible liar, though there has never really been a time where he felt the need to lie to anyone in his life, if he ever tried he would fail epically. So you can trust him to be honest with you.
++His accent is not as heavy as his fathers was.
++He is rather fond of all animals, but he is more of a dog person than a cat person.
++He is a romanticist just like his older sister, though he hesitates to admit it.
